it seems everyone is so overly critical of themselves and others... one thing i hate is when people say insincere things like " wow your arts good," or" practice makes perfect, keptrying" then never contcts you again, even if you give them a high compliment... is it just me that feels like that? also... they just randomly say "nice gallery" and dont favorite or watch anything... why th hell is everyone so gay about it... and it doesnt seem like anyone actually tries... they just kind of do... its not like their art is done because they love it.. its like, the only reason they do it is to get rich and famous... and im not saying this to everyone, and i thank the people who do actually appreciate work... i think that its not so much the piece itself, but the admiration of talent in someones works... and if you think that theyre good, then tell them, and if they have room to improve, tell them that also, and help one another out. the way i see it, art is not a competition or superficial thing... its an expression, your inner thoughts an being... and its a perfect way to do so... one thing that really makes me sad though, is i see these works where people have put all their hard work into, and is extremely expressive, yet everyone chooses the simple lineart anime character that took someone 45 minutes at most to draw on a computer screen... not to nark on anime or digital art... i love anime and digital art is fun, i understand.... just saying it seems that the art world lacks appreciation.
